When I first saw the story on my FB feed, my first thought was "I bet this is already on the rant."

My second thought was "...and I bet a Fannie alter is the first one to put it up"

Shame on him for setting his sights high and wanting to achieve something great.

he should be more concerned with making the final 53 first

You just narrowed the frick out of those parameters

I would say forever but the RB position has changed dramatically in the NFL so it's hard to compare, really no more bell cow backs and teams don't but an emphasis on the running game like they used to. The fact that Trent was supposed to be a bell cow in today's NFL further shows how big of a bust he has been.

Don't really understand how because he seemed like a sure thing coming out of Bama.

There are some certainties in life. That is one of them.

I guess they decided to quit banning his alters, since they're like a hydra. Cut one off, and two pop up in its place.

I wish him well. It was like trying to tackle a golf cart when he was in the SEC. His career so far has been a head scratcher. HOF may be a stretch, but an occasional All-Pro year isn't out of the question.

Cam is a punk bitch, my boy Von put him in his place. Not sure why you replied to me with that?

Fun fact: if you compiled a list of the top ten Bama and Auburn players currently in the NFL, Alabama would have 9 of the 10

Because you were the last post in the thread. That's all.

Compare that to 25-30 years ago when all teams had a stronger run game than passing attack. Also almost all those teams you listed are running back by committee, so no bell cow.

You're not wrong. LT was the last true franchise runningback.

We thought Chris Johnson along with a few others but it didn't last.

Gurley has potential.

But it's a dying commodity. Most have very short shelf lives

Cam Newton, obviously, would be #1 on your list.

You wouldn't include Karlos Dansby? Sen'Derrick Marks? Nick Fairley?

I'm rooting as hard as I possibly can for Trent Richardson to rush for at least 751 yards this season.

another fun fact. None of Trent's Auburn counterparts, Ben Tate, Michael Dyer, Onterrio McCaleb are on an NFL roster

We know, you have quite a weird obsession with discrediting Jackson

It really is sad what Alabama's monumental success over the past 8 seasons has driven opposing fan bases to.

Whatever helps you get through life I guess.

This is what infuriates my about the Rant. People just cannot admit when they are wrong.
