um

Florida had a Top 10 class every year since 2006 before last years coaching change where Florida still finished with a top 20 class. Florida currently has the #14 ranked class in the country with nearly all of their top prospects still on the board, and the #4 ranked class for 2017.

Could you list your DL rotation?

based on what we know:

DT:
Christian Lacouture (returning starter)
Davon Godchaux (returning starter)
Frank Herron (5 star)
Greg Gilmore (4 star)
Quinten Thomas (4 star)

DE:
Tashaun Bower (4 star)
Areden Key (4 star)
Isaiah Washington (4 star)
Deondre Clark (4 star)
Lewis Neal (3 star)

So yeah there's a plenty of talent and depth. Lewis Neal may actually start he's been so good according to camp reports.

Our Defensive Line hasn't been as good the last few years but that has been because of coaching. O is the best DL coach in the nation, safe to say that issue has been fixed.

delusion is unusually commonplace around the fan base here this year.

LSU is the 8th pick overall to win the NC, according to Vegas odds.....herbie himself just picked LSU to play in the NC game....but LSU fans with high expectations this year are delusional. Ha.

Truth is, LSU DL was pushed around like they were lightweights last year,

The first few games of the year...you are correct. Once Godcheaux got a little more experience, and Beckwith took over in the middle....this is the same poor D that finished #1 in the SEC and completely shut down bama's running game up the middle....hmmmmm

quote:

The DEs are highly suspect,

How would you know this...the two underperformers last year have moved on. There can't be less of a pass rush than LSU had last year.

only one of those DL players is projected as a draft pick so far as I know.

LOL.....Lacourte is currently projected 3rd round...Godcheaux will be first round.....There will be several of the current DE's that get drafted.....in addition, Quinten Thomas is now the 5th DT on the team.....this sounds very promising since he was projected to start last year before his injury.....plenty of DT depth.

I got a chuckle reading the part in the article that gave LSU a check mark for "creative scoring." WTF?

chuckle all you want..but LSU will have a better offense than Alabama this year....significantly better in fact. They will have the following:

Better RB's, better Wr's, better OL, and yes, a better QB........laugh all you want....that's a fact.

amazing how many people, even in our own fan base, forget how good the offense was in 2013 and that almost all of that production was replaced in 2014. of course we struggled. Now we bring back all those guys and they aren't going to improve at all, despite having an NFL caliber O/C?

yeah the requirements in the article for an Elite DL was to have 5 guys drafted in the 5th or better. I have no doubt at all that 5 of the 10 guys I listed will fit that bill. None at all. Especially now that we have a DL coach that cares

If they did this last year at the beginning of the year no way OSU has an elite secondary. Now it's good, still not great
