pretty accurate statement. a fcs team should never be within 16 points of LSU.

Zach Mettenberger had his best passing game of his LSU career against Towson.

i do like that mett wasn't happy about his play. its refreshing to see a qb realize when his play is unacceptable instead of saying he thought he played well.

any time there is an item reflecting a negative about lsu it's ALWAYS a bama fan posting it. i think auburn is a distant memory as far as a rival goes. it's obvious bama fans are afraid of LSU.

We are clearly struggling, but what kind of gumption does it take for an Ole Miss fan to give advice about what LSU needs to fix?

We have gone 17-1 with an SEC Championship since Ole Miss's last conference win. Maybe the Rebels need to get some things "fixed quick."

So because my team has been struggling I can't make factual statements? GFY

I have listened to Ole Miss fans all my life drunk with optimism and talking about SEC championships when they squeaked by the likes of Memphis to start the season. (Half a century and counting since they actually won their most recent conference championship in 1963)

It just sounds strange for someone from that fanbase feigning concern about what 4-0 LSU that hasn't been out of the top 5 in two years needs to fix. That's all.

LSU ran and passed to the flat the whole first half not wanting Florida to get a scouting report on us throwing to the TE and deep.

LSU passed for almost 100 yards (97) in the 4th quarter passing to the TE and deep...we could have done that all game.

The statements are pretty accurate. We aren't a passing threat in my opinion and our receivers are far too inconsistent. I can't believe I am actually saying this, but I think we were better last season offensively than this year. Our line is having so major issues, we are being plagued with injuries, and are just too inconsistent in the passing game.

Now I don't at all buy into the "LSU" only beat Towson by 16 now they suck bs . There's a lot of reasons why teams sleepwalk through these type games(yes I think Les had a little money on it).

Seriously though your fricking statement is pretty moronic and makes zero sense.

What's that old saying? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

It will not change unless LSU starts losing games.......which nobody here can argue Miles' record at LSU.

So, it's useless to bitch......having said this, I do hate watching our O sometimes.

More power to them. LSU should have been able to beat them by at least 35 and they played determined football. Their coach seems like he'd be great to play for.

Good luck to Towson the rest of the way.

JBearden because you didn't watch the game maybe? LSU passed near 4 times to the left flat, near 8 times to the right flat and 1 simi down field ball in the middle of the field and finally one simi deep to a wr.

Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Kadron Boone for 7 yards to the LSU 36.
Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Kadron Boone for 9 yards to the LSU 45 for a 1ST down.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Kadron Boone.
That was to the flat
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Jarvis Landry. Another flat pass.
Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Odell Beckham for 11 yards to the LSU 43 for a 1ST down.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Kadron Boone.
Another flat type pass.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to James Wright.
Wait for it, another flat pass.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Kadron Boone.
FLat again. In between Mett was sacked on a deep pass route.
Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Jarvis Landry for 4 yards to the Tows 33.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Jarvis Landry.
Zach Mettenberger pass incomplete to Kadron Boone.
Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Michael Ford for 2 yards to the LSU 32.

Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Chase Clement for 27 yards to the Tows 41 for a 1ST down. Was the middle of the field ball, fist time all night in the late 2nd quarter, before this pass LSU was throwing into the flat near all night.

The last pass of the half was the simi deep to Beck
Zach Mettenberger pass complete to Odell Beckham for 27 yards for a TOUCHDOWN.

The OL gave up a numbers of sacks on 3 other what would have been deep balls.
