Against one of the tougher schedules in the country. If we take care of business in the SEC we will be fine.

I'm not saying Florida won't make the tournament, just that Jordon's math is bad. He said Florida already has two SEC wins, and that 10 league wins would be more than enough to make the tourney. That would put Florida at 17 total wins. That's enough to make the NIT maybe.

Big win for UGA. If we beat Florida on Saturday we are right back on track to make the NCAA

These are predictions, not the "if the season ended today" bullshite that's useless in January:

Kentucky: #1 seed
Arkansas: #5 seed
Georgia: #7 seed
LSU: #9 seed
Alabama: #11 seed
Florida: #12 seed

NIT:

Ole Miss: #1 Seed
South Carolina: #2 Seed
Tennessee: #4 Seed
Vanderbilt: #6 Seed

No postseason:

Texas A&M
Auburn
Mizzou
Mississippi State

I think UF wins more than 10 SEC games. Just my opinion.

They have literally played THE toughest schedule in the country bar none.

There is still a ton of talent on the roster that everyone seems to be overlooking.

Florida has an RPI in the high 70s. a 13-5 SEC record would BARELY put you on the bubble. But keep feeling safe, hear?

LOL

A 13-5 record would give us an RPI around 32. That'd put us safely in. 12-6 is the target, and it's more than attainable.

21 overall wins and we're in... barring any bad losses along the way.

Teamrankings says that 20 or more total wins would pretty much lock us in... And 19 could get us in as well.

I forgot about that website. I remember them giving Louisville a 50% chance of winning it all last year. Oops. Otherwise, they're really spot on.

Even with 12 league wins you guys would need to win a few in the SEC tournament. Not saying that won't happen, it's gonna take a lot for Florida to make the tourney though.

I agree you played the toughest schedule but you went 7-6 and you don't have any good wins.

Doubt it. I think we're in with 12-6 unless we drop a game to a Missouri or Mississippi State type team in the SECT.

So you think Florida is safely in with 19 wins? I think the only way you get in with a win total like that is to sweep Kentucky.

Ole Miss was left out of the NCAA a few years ago with an RPI of 37. But maybe an RPI around 32 gets Ole Miss left out but puts Florida safely in.

Not "safely in," but, yeah, I think we'd make it.

The hell I'm wrong. We were left out IN 2007 WITH A FRIGGIN RPI OF 37, got a #1 seed in the NIT and lost to OHIO STATE in the SEMIFINAL game.
I may be off on the year by one, but the friggin RPI is right. if I am mistaken, then you show prrof and I will stand corrected. ~u know more about my team than I do~

ETA: hell, I was wrong on the team we played, and it was the semifinals instead of the championship game. the italics are my edit...

9 seed at best for the NCAA for us. We have to win 13+ for anything better

I would have disagreed had LSU not lost to Mizzou, but you're absolutely right. We screwed up big time with that loss
