There is not an "NCAA Equestrian Champion"

There's not one for FBS football either.

There are 128 FBS programs
There are 18 equestrian programs

Again, do what you wish, but it's a bit silly.

I don't do it. The schools do it and the conference recognizes it.

Trust me, I'd rather have a gymnastics team.

It's still sanctioned by the NCAA. That's not the case with equestrian. Might as well count quiditch and ultimate frisbee "titles" too.

Bunch of championship claiming mfers

At least all of ours (except for 1941, which we obviously need to stop claiming) are recognized. Can't say the same for the rapist buttchuggers.

They were little more than exhition games. Some schools still don't count wins/losses in bowls from that era.

Why are there no Ole Miss posters in this thread? I thought they were historical powerhouses.

The NCAA says 15, and they're the governing body of the sport. Just saying.

I was talking strictly AP.

NCAA gives LSU 4 so I go with that. We need to claim some more like our peers

Kentucky has 21 cheerleading titles. Please update our total correctly to 31. TIA.

If equestrian and cheer leading make the cut then you can add back to back Kayak fishing NC's for LSU :

I agree, should be closer to 50. Struggled for a few of those years. Unacceptable tbh

Does this only include officially recognized NCAA titles? (NCAA doesn't recognize BCS or CFP titles, nor any softball titles pre-1990s)
