No different than what Shug and Pat did years earlier. Or what Bear and Saban did for Auburn.

Well I can certainly say it wasn't when Oklahoma lost their conference championship game when they still got in the title game.

fricking Sooners.

I agree, that shellacking by Miami, showed the initial cracks in LSU football, and was a precursor to some dark days ahead for the Tigers!

1988 Earthquake game miracle drive by LSU cost AU an undefeated season and probable matchup with ND in National Championship game.

Alabama-Texas 09

Alabama pretty much killed the will of Texas football.

Hopefully they will get back to being good.

I still can't believe the 06 USC Trojans lost to the Vince Young led Horns. I personally thought USC was gonna stomp a mud hole in Texas.

How can Texas over USC in the Rose Bowl not be mentioned? USC is yet to recover from that loss

Was the 2005 PB when Miami tried to follow LSWho into their tunnel?

The 2009 UF loss in the SEC CG was a pretty big deal. UF was rolling with Meyer and his recruiting. College football landscape would have likely looked very different today had Florida won that game.

I must think differently than most of you.

To me it is probably the mid 80's Oklahoma/Miami national championship game.

Miami showed how to beat the wishbone. Never recovered really.

Option football did, even the triple option, but the wishbone died and the number of teams using approaches like that really dwindled. Memory is funny, but it seems like they vanished in just two or three years looking back.

A lot of teams would have beaten LSU that night.
