I kinda laugh when people say you have nothing going on if you go to a spring game. Really? Two to three hours on a Saturday in the Spring time? It's basically like going to the park with entertainment.

When is the running of the gumps? I always get a chuckle at seeing pictures of the average Gump in action getting dead babies signed and so forth..

"dead babies"

That pretty well defines your class.....or lack thereof.

I always wondered what would make an office runner laugh.

Exactly. It's the most retarded insult imaginable. Somehow spending a whopping 3 hours at a beautiful facility on a beautiful Spring day in Athens, Tuscaloosa, or other SEC campuses would somehow be depriving yourself of all these countless things you can't do on another day in Georgia or other states. Unless I had tickets to the Masters this weekend, I wouldn't have a problem going to my school's Spring game if it was this weekend. I live about 45 minutes from Gulf Shores so I have about 20 upcoming beach weekends between now and next fall. I may or may not go to the A-day game next weekend but it damn sure won't be because I don't have anything else to do.

But Atlanta is in Georgia, also Macon, Valdosta, Augusta, Savannah, Columbus. We have 27 colleges in the state. Georgia actually has a lot going on, we have a Pro Football, Baseball, Basketball and an arena league team. Hell the Masters are going right now, the most elite golf course in the world is in Georgia. We wont even talk about high school football prospects, or NFL draftees, it just wouldn't be fair to keep to keep laying it on.

It's easy in Columbus since there are 800K people around.

Used to be free for students (I think), and is $5 most years.

It helps a lot that spring games often fall on some of the first nice weekends up in Ohio, so people are anxious to get out. Getting out in the sun & football is a winning combo
