For you schools that post such huge spring game attendance, what's your secret? Is it a big all day extravaganza with lots of different events?

They'll normally put a Lacrosse game before the spring game, but that's only to help break the lacrosse attendance record.

And it's never free. Normally 5-10 bucks which gets donated to a local charity. This year they were going to charge 20(obnoxious), but just dropped it back down to 5 I believe.

No surprise. There's nothing else to do in Alabama.

About as much to do in Georgia. If it wasn't for the state of Atlanta, this place would be Mississippi.

There's truth in that. The NFL is missing out on this state's obsession with football.

Alabama is the largest state without a team in the NFL, MLB, or NBA.

Notice I didn't say "professional" team. Just a team in those leagues.

Alabama is also the only team running radio ads selling seats on chartered buses to attend their Aday.

It's just as much for fans as it is practice. Autograph session with coaches and players, alumni flag football game, DJ in the stadium.. I'll probably go early and drink beer all day and watch a little football even though it's meaningless. Seems like a solid Saturday to me.

We had all that planned this year. Too bad all the seats were ripped out in the north and east stands in order to re-seal the concrete.

That definitely doesn't help.

Supposed to be perfect weather in Knoxville so I think it'll be a good turnout.

I meant north, not south for re-sealing. The issue with the south end zone was the construction.

Good luck with your attendance!

What does this have to do with anything?

Do poors spend a lot of time on the internet or something?

I would usually go when I went to school, but I have never felt the desire to drive 2.5 hours to watch it, they're just not that interesting. I will spend my day on the beach.
