People forget the plays surrounding Clowneys hit.

The play before Michigan went for it on 4th down, the sticks obviously showed they didn't make it. Were given the first down anyway.

Clowneys hit and FF and FR.

Next play: SC throws a TD.

Clowney's hit is #1. There's no question about it, it got more plays/views/media attention than all the others on that list.

Another SC one I like was Ace Sanders Punt Return in '12.

I'd definitely put this above an unblocked Clowney hitting a RB that he has 100lbs on

1. Auburn kick six (2013)

Agree. Play prevented one team from a shot at a 3 peat while, essentially, putting the other team in the title game (no offense Mizzou). Also, it is the only time in CFB history that a missed FG was returned for a TD at the end of a game to win a game. That level of rare in that level of moment justifies it being #1.

2. CJ Mosley tips Murray pass (2012)

Winner of that game was going to trounce ND, so it was the defacto national title game. That said, it's not like he was throwing to a wide open player. We don't know if the ball would have been caught in end zone, deflected by corner, intercepted, etc. Massive play. Top 10. Just not #2.

3. JFF TD pass vs Alabama (2012)

Meh. Prolly won JFF the Heisman, but didn't really stop Bama from SEC or national title. Not top 10.

4. 4th & 25 (2015)

Big play. Kept OM from SECCG. Provided path for Bama to play for consecutive title. Top 10, IMO.

5. Clowney Outback bowl hit (2013)

meh

1. Auburn kick six (2013) (totally disagree)

This wasn't just one of the top 5 plays in the past five years, it is arguably the single greatest play in CFB history (and I really don't have a craw fish in this boil) considering the rivalry factor, the uniqueness of the play, the SECW championship, and other post-season prospects in play.

clowney's hit seems overrated til you remember that SC had just gotten robbed on a spot on the call before. it should have been SC'S ball and clowney got it back.

If you think Joe Adams kick return took the same skill that fournette's run against auburn took, you're either retarded, an lsu fan, or both

Eric Reid interception vs Alabama 2011 was better than most of those and most meaningful (until the day that shall be forgotten).

Onsides vs Clemson was bigger than any of those.

It actually led to a NC trophy.
