He led the league while playing the exact same talent with a lesser oline than bama, auburn, LSU and possibly others. What exactly makes him less talented?
His offense for one.
The guys from bama, auburn, and LSU were splitting carries with other elite backs for two
And Pettway only played in 9 games and only had 136 less yards than Williams. He had the most yards per game and was the leading rusher by a solid margin before injury

So much WTF are you talking about in that comment.
How is that difficult to understand? You either have a reading disability or don't understand football. Now which is it?

You don't average 7.6 yards per carry as a starter with a "lesser" o-line.

That would be Devwah Whaley
#22 rusher in the SEC with only 601 yards
AU, Bama, and LSU all had 2 runners in the top 14 of the SEC

Damien Harris, now this is weird for an Alabama RB, severally underrated

Runs for 1,000 yards and there's more talk about the other Harris, Najee.

John MCBM Kelly for VOLS will definitely be among this top tier group iyam

What does it have to do with Pettway? I said anyone who doesn't put the league's leading rusher in their top 5 shouldn't be making statements. Especially when he ran behind a line like we had. Also, Whaley is a very solid back as well so RWIII wasn't just a workhorse.

Just because he touched the ball more than anybody else doesn't make him the best. Sorry, bro.
You want to put Nick Fitzgerald on the list too since he was second in yards?

So he had less yds per carry than all those you listed? I'm seriously asking.

Ralph Webb will be top 5 again.

Except for Chubb, yes

Just like LF7 was last year.
LF would have coasted to most yards in the SEC if healthy. There is not any doubt about that.
