I am not saying he wasn't good at Arkansas. He was talking about some metric that has come out, but it was saying that his number of carries was too low. He then hypothesized that it made him appear better than he was based on sample size.

I wish it was in an article I read so I could link it.

I agree. McCluster was a beast. I thought Stacey was an odd addition to the list as well and would have no problems swapping the two.

If Stacy made the list how did they leave Dexter off?

Because he was listed as a WR?

For the SEC D-Mac has definitely been the best in this era. After him I'd say Trent Richardson, Caddy, and Shaun Alexander were the next three. This list has Mark Ingram way overrated, IMO. I'd move Ronnie Brown and Felix Jones up a bit.

Yea that could be it. But the back half of his jr year and his entire senior year he was def a tailback. Yes, he lined up in the slot some but he was more often than not lined up at TB.

I know, but he started most games as a WR, so blame Nutt for him not making this list.

It was kinda like all the talk about Matt Jones "switching" to WR in the NFL, just about every game he started lined up as a WR then would come in after the first series or so and finish the game as QB.

Agreed on all counts. I'd actually say D-Mac was the best college RB period behind ADP during this period of time.

Ronnie Brown should be higher. He was an awesome player for Au and IMO better than Caddy.

One of the most underated players in my time. Kid was electric, add on top you also had Darren "we got da wood" McFadden in the same backfield. Arky was stacked at RB during that stretch.

Not to be a homer, but Deuce McAllister should be in over Zac Stacy - better stats, more versatile player.

Yeah, Reggie Bush was probably the best college RB since Barry Sanders IMO.
