Yeah, that's why. 
Have you looked at Tennessee's roster? They have zero experience at point guard. They have zero experience in the frontcourt.
As good of last minute, late period signings as Ray Kasongo and Lamonte Turner were, they're both probably going to start at the two most important positions on the court -- they're going to struggle.
They do have some talented wings, but Robert Hubbs and Kevin Punter aren't exactly going to be the guys to lead a team to the Top 5 of the SEC.
But, by all means, continue to bring Florida into the conversation when they weren't relevant to the point I was making at all.

To each his own. And I have looked. I also don't discount how much the Tyndall stuff around the program could've caused issues last season either. I think they'll be better than some think.

Auburn will turn some heads this upcoming season. I'm assuming you mean this upcoming season. I don't know about top 5 good, but Ithink we will make the NIT definitely and a small possibility of making it to the NCAA tourney.

State will be most improved. How far of a jump that gives us is hard to say at this time.

I think Auburn is about a year away from getting into the tournament but could make a strong NIT run (and that's always a good basis for an upcoming team). If I recall correctly Pearl has a really nice class coming in year after next and that'll probably do it.

A&M has a strong case as the second best team in the conference, as do Vandy and LSU.
