Conveniently naive and gross over simplification. I could say on yhe same token LSU fans are only focused on the last two words of STTDB than they are being loud otherwise. Both are stupid. Getting a yell right doesn't detract from loudness.

quote:

It wasn't very loud, and it never had that almost "unhinged" quality that is unnerving for a visiting fan in the way I've seen Auburn, LSU, Florida, and Bama.

I could say the same about LSU. If it isn't at night, in a primetime game against a big opponent, you're not going to get the upper echelon of what a fanbase can do. And again. Eliminate all non-students from Tiger Stadium and do the same at Kyle Field and this isn't even a competition. Your students will never be as loud as ours.

Well then let's call it a wash on your generalization that your students have the prime seats on the 50. It's true, but it ignores the people sitting in the third deck in terrible vantage points. Every seat in the TS student section is better than those seats. But that's a function of stadium design more than anything else.

It doesn't really matter. They're all good sections. /offseasonthread

Kyle Field has students in essentially the same place as LSU does. Then mirrored on the other side. Then everything in between. Nothing LSU offers student seating wise does anything to compare. You can just admit we are better in this one instance without gump-like insecurities manifesting?

About equal or slight nod to UF IMO.

LSU very loud at times but not consistently loud like I've seen at other stadiums. Also drops off big time after first quarter when all the fans start leaving.

I gotta say I was impressed when I went to Auburn. Got very loud, Jordan-Hare's design reminds me of Tiger Stadium too

Especially when we kicked your arse so bad that everyone wanted to get a jump on the bars instead of watching Johnny throw another INT.

JHS is sneaky loud. we are not in the ground the Swamp or as big as DV but we are consistently one of the toughest places to win due to crowd noise.

yeah I absolutely wish I had LSU student seats on the 50 in the lower bowl while I was there, and its cool aTm gives them to their students.

I'd also hate to be a Freshman stuck in the third deck of Kyle for every game too, because those seats are garbage.

OT, but ND gives their students pretty incredible seats.

I've sat in NDs student section. It doesn't touch the Greek seats at UA.

I was on the 45 yard line about 20 rows up the one time I sat in the Student section there. Had no idea the Greek seats at UA were that good.

They are unbelievably nice. We probably don't deserve them.

Though yes, ND has a great student section. Sount Bend is a great place to watch CFB.
