Honestly, if Hill dominants the carries like he did from the USCe game on(except the Clemson game, WTF) he could be a darkhorse. Most gifted RB ive seen at LSU in a long long time.

"Guys Ware is the next big thing! Warewolf!"

"Ok Hilliard is better than T-Rich RIGHT NOW!"

"Alfred Blue for Heisman guise!"

"Jeremy Hill darkhorse for Heisman!"

Heresaucer:

Point is, one bad game early has been proven to not eliminate a Heisman candidate if there able to have an impressive performance later down the road (Bama for JFF).

Murray finally has an established line, a reliable and feared running threat, and a terrific corps of receivers and TEs.

If he can go 2/3 between LSU, USCe, and Clemson, he'll get a lot of Heisman buzz

I'm gonna say that the Bama/A&M game being played at the beginning of the season is going to remove either McCarron or JFF from consideration early on.

One will have a bad game that day, and that is all it seems to take.

I'd agree if it were later in the year, but I think whoever takes a loss in that game will have plenty of time to bounce back from it.

Definitely would love to see Clowney win it. His hit in the bowl game will be played at the ceremony, that's for sure.

Clowney, even if I were not a Gamecock fan, Clowney. It's time and he's got the big lead-in with the hit in the bowl that is going to continue to grow and grow. PLus the sheer timing of the thing.

Plus you've got SC going to turn on a media blitz for him.

He's got a good chance. McCarron, God bless him and KW and may he be the one to break every cherry she has remaining ... but he is not winning the Heisman. Just not flashy enough. Plays for a coach that is never going to utilize him enough to have Heisman numbers.

JFF has to go through his "target season" next year where everyone in the SEC is going to want a piece of his arse. He's a player, but he's got a sophomore awakening ahead of him. I love to watch the kid play though.

Gurley ... I mean we've always got to have another "Herschal gonna win dat Heisman" thing happenin' amongst the dawggy fans. It's cool, I'm down with all that.

I couldn't think of a fifth player tbh. Stranger things have happened.

Well, I mean, statistically he actually is currently the best RB we have had since Herschel at this stage in his career

IMO, the only "awakening" JFF will experience next year is smarter play. He's only going to get better at parsing the looks defenses throw at him, and while he'll still do his thang with his feet, I see his arm getting deadlier.

Biggest difference next year will be a rise in passing numbers and a dip in rushing compared to this season.

He would've went to the ceremony this year if it weren't for the two INTs and loss against A&M. He'd definitely go next season if he can go the first thirteen games without tossing an INT, but besides that he's only gonna likely have one or two at that point, and if Bama is unbeaten and he's around 2700 yards and 25 TDs at that point he'll go. It'd be a shame if the man who could be the first starting QB to 3peat doesn't even make it to the Heisman ceremony.

I'm literally hard at the thought of Yeldon as starting RB after another offseason in the S&C program.

That a bama thing?

1. Manziel

2. McCarron

3. Murray

4. Gurley

5. Yeldon

Clowney has zero chance. The Heisman's an offensive award.

I wouldn't expect Big Game Murray to go 1/3 against those teams.

Hill is so good he cleared out a whole group of upperclassmen

You won't be running your mouth when he runs wild on that Tide D again in November

A Bama thing is our starting RBs living up to the hype.

Ware, Hilliard, Blue, and soon Hill...didn't turn out well.

Ingram, Richardson (maybe you didn't say it, but almost everyone outside of Alabama was saying he'd never make New York), Lacy (countless threads on the SECr about how overrated he was. He had 1300 yards and wasn't healthy the first half of the year, and by his own account wasn't at 100% until the ND game), and now Yeldon.
