A fifth was tough to come up with. No particular order really.
I'd bump Ransdell off your list and throw in George Blanda.

Yeah, he was one of the guys that I was torn between. You're probably right though.

The most overlooked in UT history, George Cafego
He was technically listed as a halfback, but played the quarterback role in General Neyland's offense over his three years at Tennessee as a runner, passer and punter, along with a role in the defensive secondary. He did more running than passing, but was a part of arguably two of Neyland's three best teams.
His final two years at Tennessee, he led the team to a 21-1 record including an Orange Bowl win over Oklahoma. In 1939, the Vols were the last team in NCAA regular season history to go undefeated, untied and not scored upon. Of course they shite the bed in the Rose Bowl that year with Cafego sidelined by injury but alas..
He was a two-time All-American
Heisman Finalist
College FB HOF
And was first pick overall in 1940 NFL draft as a QB to the Brooklyn Dodgers and would have prob had a great career if not for the War.
Became a great college coach and assistant
George Cafego 1955 Topps QB card

Out of those there are 4 Super Bowl wins and the first three Super Bowls were won with a QB from Alabama.

When Bill Ransdell is one of your top 5 QB's, you know you haven't had many good ones.
