The 12th man is about more than the student section. It goes back to 1922 and has much more current history associated with it from the all walk on kick off coverage units to the current tradition of the walkon wearing #12 on special teams unit.

Yeah and the 12th Man Kickoff Team is basically the most bad arse thing ever.

If that is your reasoning, then you are dead wrong. The 12th man is not the greatest tradition if college football.

GoCrazyAuburn is THE authority on this, y'all

If you did that, and 29,999 other people did the same, including timeouts, and any other lull in the action, I would be impressed.

Unfortunately for you, I dont think anyone cares if you are impressed or not.

I'm sorry the best student section in the Texas, bar none, doesn't meet your standards. But you are entitled to your opinion.

Yes it is. Coaches talk to players. Players talk to players. Players rest, players recover, etc. It isn't some giant game of freeze tag.

We yell during timeouts to rattle the opposing team who's bench is right in front of us. They don't get a reprieve just because they call timeout.

I have given y'all plenty of opportunity to prove that the 12th man is a greater tradition than the army navy game. Sorry you can't do it.

Out of the vast pantheon of words that could describe your reaction to the assertion that the 12th Man is the best tradition in college athletics "apathetic," is not the one I'd choose

Exactly why they don't understand the 12th Man is better than. That 2010 Nebraska game, those dickhead brother coaches even mentioned how it was distracting during timeouts. And it aint easy. Standing for 4 and half hours, save one break while the other teams ban plays is tiring.

Prove given what facts? You are retarded--this is all conjecture and opinion here. The 12th Man is a tradition rooted deep at A&M that speaks for itself and has impressed the cfb world on numerous occasions.

You're just cantankerous right now
