CBS Sports ha O.J. Howard listed as their #1 TE prospect for 2017.

Not to mention he is undersized for that position in the NFL

Lawson is projected as one of the top defensive players in 2015 by many pubs...
you must watch many of our games... ask your in-state brothren how good he is
Jones and Nkemdiche both had better seasons. Lawson had a great game against us, Ole Miss. That's not saying anything though when he lined up against Pierce Burton the whole game.

Nobody is saying that he is going to go in the top 10 of the draft, but to think he won't be one of the top 5 or so TE's taken is asinine.

Mizzou was in the top 40% of NCAA rush defenses.
Top 40%? No one would ever brag about that. Btw, did you see what Tre Mason did to that run defense?

I'm also curious to how big you think he is and what it is based on.

Nobody bragged about it. Simply stating that being a top 50 rush defense =/= abymsal run defense as was stated.

their rush D was one of the Best in the SEC going into that game... i think UGAs was as well going into the AU game...
Pre-SECCG:
quote:
Mizzou has been one of the best defenses in the country at stopping the rush all season, allowing just 119.1 yards per game on the ground.
What the Tigers don't do well is stop the pass.
The pass defense for Missouri has allowed 266.3 passing yards per game, ranking 14th in the SEC. While the rush defense is 2nd only to Alabama, the pass defense has surrendered 15 touchdowns.
In order for Mizzou to pull out a victory, they will desperately need to force turnovers in the passing game, which is something it has done all season.
For all of their woes on pass defense, Mizzou has forced 18 interceptions, which ranks first overall in the SEC.

Fair point. I guess that Auburn-Mizzou game just gave a poor overall impression.

And the fact that UGA was a 5-loss team makes it even more irrelevant.
Still curious about this statement.

That was the only sack Tunsil gave up all year fwiw, not Burton.

I'm interested to see who you think is better than Cooper.
Agholor, Lockett, Diggs, and Montgomery. Strong is pretty nice along with Goodley and the fact he isn't on there is messed up. Cooper is top 5 but it's Bama so he's going to be overrated.

3. Leonard Williams, DL, USC

6. Vic Beasley, DE, Clemson

There's no denying Auburn had a great running game, but I think Mizzou's and UGA's run defenses were overrated heading into those games. I know for us, no one would ever run on us when it was so easy to throw for 300 yards.
