Their actual fight song is really good. One of my favorites. Not sure why they insist on playing Rocky Top so dman much.

Aggy, feel free to post your version in response.

---------

Hell of a lot of ca-rap, ca-rap

Hell of a lot of ca-rap, ca-rap

We are the kiddies from the, kiddie corps

All little aggies ages two to four

We play the soldier boy from, morn' to night

We are the ones who have that (squeaky) real ole fight

"The Eyes of Texas are Up-on You," that is the song they sing so well

(Makes you so mad, you could just spit)

So rickety-zam, rickety-zam

Aww to hell with Texas A&M

I want my momm-eee,

I want my momm-eee,

I want my mommeee- NOW!

There was a perfectly good opportunity to make fun of Oklahoma and Boomer Sooner (aka the worst fight song in the country hands down) yet you choose you to post about Aggy. Not surprising

That's way too boring (like their fight song)

The Texas version of that is

Party party, party party, party party, party party (seriously)

Agree. I can hum the tune for everyone in the SEC but Vandy, Ole Miss, and USC. Tennessee's actual fight song is a pretty catchy tune--I seem to recall hearing it in other contexts from time to time (e.g., not a slam, but I remember hearing it as background music for some football related cartoon from way back, like a Bugs Bunny or something of that sort).

And when I die I'll be Sooner dead

I'd rather be dead than Sooner red

if you heard it, you would know it. as annoying as rocky top is, UT's actual fight song is actually very good IMO

That's rich coming from a school that has the most juvenile traditions toward another school, than any in America.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh-whoa

There she stood in the street
smilin' from her head to her feet;

I said, "Hey, what is this?
Now maybe, baby,
maybe she's in need of a kiss."

I said, "Hey, what's your name?
Maybe we can see things the same.

"Now don't you wait, or hesitate.
Let's move before they raise the parking rate."

All right now, baby, it's a-all right now.
All right now, baby, it's a-all right now.

(Let me tell you now)

I took her home to my place,
Watchin' every move on her face;

She said, "Look, what's your game?
Are you tryin' to put me to shame?"

I said "Slow, don't go so fast,
don't you think that love can last?"

She said, "Love, Lord above,
now you're tryin' to trick me in love."

All right now, baby, it's a-all right now.
All right now, baby, it's a-all right now.

I've been working on the railroad
All the live-long day.
I've been working on the railroad
Just to pass the time away.
Can't you hear the whistle blowing,
Rise up so early in the morn;
Can't you hear the captain shouting,
"Dinah, blow your horn!"
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow your horn?
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow,
Dinah, won't you blow your horn?

At least that is what is sounds like.

I bet you don't know nor care that their fight song mentions us. They don't know either, because none of them know the words to their fight song.

Needs a lot of lyrical work in terms of flow with the original TBH IMHO
