Right narrative, but wrong for you personally as a poster.

Just like Harvey, does not represent fanbase.

Same people that do either would find some other bullshite thing to act crazy stupid over if not for football.

Hear ya. Guy isn't from the area. Isn't affiliated with the school. Might as well have been a Texas state trooper

This is a spillover from a hilarious back and forth from this thread about the tree:
Just like a Bama fan

Basically, you're making the same point we did. MrAU tried for several pages to argue that this is representative of the Bama fanbase before he finally gave up and tried to pretend he was trolling.

Clearly inaccurate. We have been told for many, many years that Auburn fans never do anything wrong.

Let's play "Spot The Fan"...identify the favorite college football program of the individuals in the following photographs:

So if the guy has at least one blurry picture in existence everything is cool. Damn it why didn't we think of that

Tell ya what - find a pic of Jochen Wiest in AU gear and we'll call it even.

Better still, find an article where he named his children "Shug Jordan Weist" and "War Eagle Weist".

We'll wait.

Ah think I missed that whole thread.

Sadly, it is always plausible these days some "fan" is going to do something over the top.

Looking briefly over the thread, I agree with you that none of these actions are representative of a fanbase.

I do think Alabama might have a few more nutjobs, but that is only because they are winning so often. And the same type of people who are unbalanced might be drawn to try and associate with winning. I expect those same nuts will flock to another "winner" when it becomes expedient for them.

What kind of a troll are you?

"...he was wearing an Auburn hat," Taylor said. "... It was one of our own."
