Thanks for the pics. Alberta got slammed. Did you ride down Crescent Ridge Road? I rode down it last week and couldn't even recognize where I was.

Drove through Tuscaloosa yesterday. Amazing how Druid City Hospital looked almost untouched with the total devastation around it.

Thank you for sharing the pictures! I haven't been back since the very first weekend, right after it happened. It messed me up pretty bad - I saw some things that I never thought I would have to see in my life. I haven't had a chance to get back because of work yet - but I plan to get back soon!

I was in town for a wedding.

I was there w/ The Weather Channel the week after it hit..it almost looks worse now..esp. on 15th where they have simply started just leveling the damaged buildings...

My heart ached for Alberta City as we rode through ....especially the church that my father in law's friend is/was a pastor at,,,,just brutal

But I know they'll eventually rebuild even stronger...

I'm no Bama fan at all thats for sure..but this trancends any sport..and my heart and prayers will be with Ttown for a long time

I was down there this weekend for the first time since the storm. As cliche as it sounds, the pictures just don't do it justice. I grew up in Tuscaloosa, and completely lost my bearings driving through Forest Lake and Alberta City. The landmarks were all gone.

There's a spot on Crescent Ridge where you can see a few miles both ways and can clearly see the path of the tornado. It is jaw dropping.

Although I've driven through other sections of Tuscaloosa that the tornado hit, Saturday was the first time I was able to go through Alberta City. At least the Moon Winx sign survived.

You guys know the Wood Square shopping center where Full Moon was? Yeah, I was in there when it came through. It's amazing how many people walked out of there unscathed.

Yep, know Wood Square well.

That's insane. Did y'all get in the cooler? I was on the phone with a friend who was at DCH when it came through. She was watching it from the waiting room. Last thing she said was "oh shite" then the call dropped. I thought the hospital had been hit.

Probably Ryan Kelly. He's an OG from Ohio.

I wasn't at Full Moon, I was at Aaron's beside Chuckie Cheese. We rode it out then went outside and it looked so surreal. It literally looked like a bomb went off. The awning from the building just collapsed. Car alarms were going off...there was a truck inside the rubble. It was insane.

I had a video camera and started recording all the damage afterwards. As I ran around the building to check on the girls from Dollar General, I heard the screams from the people trapped inside what was the cooler at Full Moon. When I watch it, you can hear them screaming for help. It gives me chills every time.

I wish I knew which thread I posted my pictures in....but I posted several from inside/outside my work.

Cyrus K and his famblee

Shoulda walked up, opened up a backpack full of cash and told him "IF YOU HAD STUCK TO THE PLAN, THIS WOULD BE YOURS RIGHT NOW!!!"
