Romo is made of glass. He should go ahead and call it quits

I hope Dak succeeds in his career. When he beat LSU in 2014 at Tiger Stadium, I couldn't believe LSU passed him up. Best of luck to him at Dallas this season.

Some gold in that thread.

tjv305 - I don't like the pick. The Cowboys should have went with someone more ready to play this year in case Romo goes down. Dak is a project that may never be good enough to start.

Dak has done well in preseason, but that release motion will be his back breaker (no pun intended). I wish him well.

He has done well against defenses where there was no game planning or scouting of the rookie. Doesn't change how good he looked, but it will, dramatically, once NFL DCs put on some tape and put him under the microscope.

Garrett labeled Romo "day-to-day" and refused to give a timetable for his return, but NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport was told by a source that the quarterback's "best-case scenario" is returning by "mid-season,"

Somebody isn't on the same page.

I'm going to guess with his back injury history along with this break, he's out several weeks. Dude is 36 years old, time to hang them up.

As a Dallas fan Romo should retire.

Im a Cowboys fan and I honestly can't wait until they find a better QB than Romo, he is made of glass and grossly overpaid. Hopefully Dak can evolve enough to lead that team so Jerry Jones can count his losses and kick Romo to the curve

I think it would have been best for Dak to sit and learn this year but he will get a good amount of playing time early.

I think he has what it takes to eventually win a Super Bowl.
