I'd be willing to bet it's a little late for that. Doubt there are many flights leaving Birmingham or Montgomery for LA in the next couple of hours. Not to mention the ice/snow storm all over the country delaying commercial travel. Good call though.

Now you're just trying to be all logical & stuff.
I've taken more than my share of "day of" business flights outta Houston & Austin.
It can be done--particularly on a Monday.
But I hear ya.

Moving the game to Atlanta would have fixed that.

I looked 10 days ago, couldn't get a flight cheaper than about 900 bucks to any airport in the region (including Vegas, San Diego, etc.) on any of the days we'd need.

Semi finals will be interesting. Tough choice for fans.

Yea I've already been charged with UA once and was lucky not to lose rank. Not gonna push my luck again. Plus I've got more rank to lose this time around.

Came back from Vegas yesterday. There were a lot of Auburn fans at the Mirage and saw many more out on Saturday and Saturday night. The few I talked to told me they found cheap hotel/flight deals for post NYE in Vegas. They are renting a car and driving to game or they are part of tour bus over & back with a flight home on Tuesday.

I put the AU vs FSU fans walking around at 8/1 Auburn over FSU. Also saw a lot of Auburn fans at DFW around 2pm yesterday.

I have seen quite a bit more Auburn fans than Florida State but don't think they aren't here.
L.A. is into the Rose Bowl Game and the Parade. They don't give a damn about the BCS NC game and how it has "ruined" their beloved Rose Bowl of Big Ten vs. Pac 10. New Orleans, Phoenix and Miami residents have a much more heightened excitement about an NC game in their cities because the Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl are to Pasadena and L.A. what Mardi Gras is to New Orleans. Think "trying to get excited about a new "Mardi Gras Super Krewe" that rolls a week after Mardi Gras.
