People will FREAK OUT tonight for no reason considering many top 10 teams are scheduled to play each other, their relative rankings are meaningless.

These rankings are nothing more than fanfare and used to generate ratings. The only time the committee matters is when the conference championship games are over.

Well, I don't care who's in tonight, but it will give a glimpse as to how jacked up this whole dumb experiment actually is.

Auburn's best win and loss are better than Bama's.

Auburn's only loss is to the #1 team.

Your logic is why tonights list will piss a lot of people off.

There are too many ways to try and determine who should be in the top 4 "Right Now"

Which is also why they are doing it now, having a show about it at prime time and have talked it up all season

Its time to piss everyone off and get them watching. If they wanted to do it right, they should have just waited till the season is over then tell us who was the top 4. No need to discuss it if the discussion has no bearing on the outcome

People saying tonight's rankings don't matter would likely admit that they would rather have their team in the top 4 rather than not. Who wouldn't want to start high. It would suck to be a one-loss team and be #9 or something. That would mean the committee doesn't think as highly of your team as it does the other one-loss teams.
