Bama is not going to go on probation for this clay needs to just give up on this story and get a life. I don't understand why this guy is so fixated on getting Alabama in trouble.

I bet you were okay with it when thamel and the other sleazeballs were fixated on getting Auburn in trouble though. I bet that was a bunch of fun. I bet it was fun to wake up every morning and see what new rumor your fan base had made up to try to bring us down. Relax and enjoy it. It's your turn now.

Who has made up anything in this case? The bigger story is that the NCAA does not even look into it.

I think NOTHING happens to Bama, but this is an interesting story.

Guy is a scum bag and the University has disavowed him.

No self respecting Alabama fan should give him any business of any kind.

Guy doesn't give a shite about anything than making a quick buck or two and doesn't care who the hell he screws over to do so.

Pretty much.

Is any of Tom's stuff actually selling?

I saw where he had a pair of Kenyan Drakes gloves for sale for $1,200. That's hillarious.

I'd imagine Tom has a limited supply of autographed/game worn gear, so once they sell, he's out of merchandise, right?

No idea. I was in University Mall around Christmas and walked past his store. I only noticed a Cooper jersey and McCarron jersey on display, neither appeared to be signed. I didn't really look closely nor go in to look for more.

The entire autograph market is hilarious to me. Grown men running to get autographs at Fan Day is so pathetically sad, but not as sad as the grown men that pay money for those autographs.

Just saw this. Why is this a story? You can go on Ebay and find stuff signed by current college players from most teams for sale by other memorabilia dealers.

I think it is the pictures of Alabama players posing with this guy and at his store. It's kind of weird and makes people assume some nefarious dealings are going on.

The actual memorabilia for sale is not really a story in and of itself.

The appearance of it. This scumbag is posing for pictures with the players, plastering pictures all over his Facebook page, etc. He's a creep, and Saban should kick any player off the team caught talking with him.

As an observer, I've noticed that Allin2010 and TigerinMiami seem to be more focused on Bama (and an obvious hatred/desire to see them fall) than on their own team and their 2013 success.

Be proud of your team and stop the Bama obsession. Hate when LSU fans do it to, but you two do it waaaaaaay more than most AU fans.

Congrats on the SEC Championship. Stop wasting our time on some shite that we all know will result in about as much trouble for Bama as the T-Town Menswear stuff.

Al-Betar, who received a disassociation letter from Alabama in March 2011 after displaying extensive Alabama football memorabilia in his T-Town store and taking pictures with players, said in a brief interview that fans from Alabamas Fan Day come in with stuff.

They dont belong to no football players, Al-Betar said. They sign it over there and they will come here. Most every year they do the same thing.

With the type stuff going on the players need to be compensated. Like seriously, current players sign the stuff for free and this guy marks it up to $3000??? Ive always been on favor of the players getting something more but if you are going to have current players signing items at Fan Days and such, then they need to be given a cut of the days take.

He stands at his store and looks for the players when they are in the mall. Some of the pictures I saw you can see bags in the players hands from shopping.

There is no "take" at Fan Day. It is all free.

This guy has turned into CC Tiger1 ...

It's really unfortunate too, because he can be a really good poster - and knows a lot about the game and football history.

Too bad he lets his hatred of all things Bama impact his ability to be a quality contributor to this forum.

He really is a good poster when he doesn't have his ITAT marching orders in hand. Guys like him from any fan base were good entertainment years ago, now they're just board killers.
