Texas is a train wreck, I wouldn't want to step near it. The administration is WAY to hands on.

Not sure how a coach can have success their now with what is happening

What's new?

Rantards on TR have been doing it since the loss.

But can we get an exact quote for the lulz?

If he was like Saban, he wouldn't have lost that game. Not because he would be too good to lose but because Texas would have tried desperately to hire him and then hired a mediocre second choice when they failed.

I'm guessing Herman said something about Saban's first year at Bama being a rebuilding year too perhaps?

We're not much better. Former Regent Jim Wilson deliberately meddled in the contract negotiation in 2013 to ensure that Kevin Sumlin had his golden parachute.

Got a link or are we just guessing?

If we're guessing, I bet he said "Hey, even Saban lost to ULM his first season. But look how that worked out, amirite?"

Usually when Butterteeth is mentioned in a Texas thread we are talking about Mack Brown.

Come on Outlaw. Provide the damn quote or a link or don't spread rumors unless you are an old lady.

said something to the effect, of many of todays premiere coaches had a rebuild year in their first year. Saban i think was 6-6. I don't think he was comparing himself to Saban as far as X's and O's. We still have a long run ahead of us. You just can't change the funk of the last 4 years in 9 months. I believe he is the right man to do this. But we will see. hell i though Charlie was also. Anyway my two cents!
