I'll also add, if he has NBA talent on his team, he will do well...that is the key with Clappy...but he has also been known to piss it all away. His 11 team had 2 lottery picks and they get upset in the Sweet 16. His past 2 years, he had/has 4 burgar boys.

All I know, IU fans have been wanting to get rid of him for 3 years and they will not shed a tear if he goes to Mizzou.

Baw, I would slow your roll on Crean is cheap. IU overpaid him and had to hang on to him for 2'years due to his buyout. Y'all are going have to pay him and it's not going to be cheap.

IU does not want to play it in Indianapolis. The 12 game in Bloomington was the nail in the coffin with the treatment of AD's parents. Cal said no more home/home. If IU wants to play the game, they have to agree on playing it in Lucas Oil Field.

Then IU is retarded. Not only leaving the money on the table but the neutral site dome games are great for experience if you get to the Final 4.

It would be SICK if IU/UK opened each year in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Fair enough. I'm a big fan of mid major basketball(bigger SLU fan than mizzou), I just think Marshall may be a riding a bigger wave currently then people think.

Gregg Marshall used y'all for pay raises. Just like Painter...Counzo went to Cal over Mizzou.

Also, aren't y'all going to have more sanctions with academic scandal? Be glad if y'all do get Clappy, because he is desperate to get some gig in a major conference.

Crean Vs Kentucky:

beat Kentucky twice while at Marquette, once with Wade, ironically after they'd beaten Mizzou, in the 2008 tourney, and last spring.

On Cuonzo: he wanted the job in '14, Mizzou wouldn't give him the time of day for some reason. He did not pick Cal over Mizzou.

This time around, if both Mizzou & IL are open, he's going to IL. He's on Mizzou's list, but from what I've gathered he's a bit down on it.

If Crean's the pick, I'd guess it will happen pretty quickly, by the middle of next week.

The good news is, there seems to be options this time around, so I've actually seen Mizzou fans with some optimism for once.

The Mizzou job wasn't open for Martin to take at the time.

You know how this is. You're A&M. Think really hard and you might be able to come up with an analogy.

I may have been thinking of 2011 for when he wanted it and Mizzou wouldn't interview him. That makes more sense. 2014 he was already at Cal, so I messed that up. Now if Haith had just left Mizzou a month earlier, then the timing possibly could have worked out.

You are correct. Forgot 2008.

And the treatment of AD parents was vulgarity...supposedly AD's dad got spit on. Cal after that said he would never take a team back to Assembly Hall.

Did I say Mizzou offered?

By the way, why not after him? He is from East St Louis. Seems to be a good fit.
