I would normally pick OM by 14+, but they have yet to have a WAOM moment and this is setting up perfectly for that.

Points to make:
First...South Carolacky Sandstorm & 2001 are so fricking hokey. 2001? Thats their big intro? How about a Queen song?
Second....TEs have made big difference for us. We have three good receivers and then TEs Grier is gonna light up OM this saturday night.
Third...East Carolina, UK and UT were determined to beat us with 110% max effort (we had beaten ECU in bowl game). OM has no urgency for this game....the black bears are coming in the Swamp looking for berries and foraging for campground trash cans and then BOOM! A 30/30 blast their azzs.

Since 2014, we've given up 18 TDs and picked off 29 passes, but okay.

This won't be true, boss. We got our "frick it, let's just go through the motions" game out of the way this past week. It almost bit us.
They won't make that same mistake twice.

Biggest issues are on the OL, obviously. We're starting a true freshman at LG and a RS freshman at RT. Another RS freshman gets heavy rotation at RG.
Gators are playing really well on the DL so this will be interesting. We're really thin at LB though and our open field tackling has sucked.
How's your defense? Strengths/weaknesses?

As each day passes I'm getting more and more confident. Ole Miss' strengths plays into our strengths.

How mobile is Chad Kelly? Dobbs had like 150 rushing yards, is Kelly capable of running like that?
I think Florida matches up better with Ole Miss than they did with Tennessee. The secondary will slow down Ole Miss's passing game and if they can hold Ole Miss to less than 150 rushing yards as a team, the defense will do enough to give the offense a chance to win the game for Florida. The turnover battle, how Florida offensive line holds up against Ole Miss defensive line, and how well Ole Miss runs the ball will determine who wins the game. It should be a close and exciting game.

Strengths:
Speed, everywhere
More speed
Great open field tackling
Physical secondary
Great pass rush
Seriously, more speed
Redzone defense
Ball hawking secondary
Weaknesses:
Small LBs
Inability to stop the power run
Fatigue, as of late (offense has been prone to quick three-and-outs)
Underneath routes have killed us (Vandy had a great game plan - use the Landshark's aggressiveness to their detriment)

DLine is great at times, and other times can seem like they forgot how to pressure the QB.
LBs are thin and inexperienced, but solid so far.
Secondary is filled with playmakers, but for some reason we're not utilizing our strong, physical corners to disrupt routes and instead we're giving teams 10 yards of soft-arse, pussy fricking coverage and letting them kill us over the middle with quick outs.
I want to punch things watching our secondary.

Not sold on Florida yet. OM should be able to shut down their offense. Just go for two when up by 12, keep playing hard when up by 13 and OM wins.

I am not buying this yet, our secondary is very solid.
Vandy's TE caught us off guard a little, but our coaches know about what Florida has. Vandy had 194 yards of passing, but their TE was the leading receiver was 57 yards.
After studying the game some more, we were really playing some 2nd and 3rd stringers all game.
Outside of our offense shutting down (LSU/ARky last year), the Bama blueprint is the way to beat the Rebels. Keep our D on the field and get them tired.
Is Florida geared for long drives this season or a quick strike offense? Have only watch your TN game.

thanks
We do a lot of crossing routes and quick outs. Suck at the deep ball. Kelvin Taylor runs well but we're not as good run blocking so probably won't take advantage there. Grier will throw 1 or 2 passes that should be picked.

Outside of Bama, we've played very vanilla, and it almost bit us against Vandy.
I'd like to think Freeze quits the cutesy, experimental crap and gets back to what works for us this week. And probably open the play book a little more.

One of my 2 Ole Miss alumni sons, the older and more football smart one, is concerned about Saturday, having spent his youth in the Swamp watching UF win games like this. The younger one, who by the way is named after a Gator QB, is sure Ole Miss will win. We are going to the game together Saturday. They will sit in the upper south east stands by the ole miss section, while we will sit comfortably in the North west home stands. A divided family for 1 week, just every 5 years unless we meet again in Atlanta. Go Gators, and except for Saturday, Hotty Toddy.

If your biggest issues are Oline..that's bad for yall. Our defensive line is nasty. It wasn't talked about in the preseason but no defensive line but the Aggies has been as nasty about getting at the Qb. Bullard already has 8 TFL and I believe four sacks on his own. The over under on sacks for both teams should be ten hah.
