Has Bama ever won a college world series? I know you walloped us in a game 28-2 back in 1996, and beat us in the SEC tournament, but we had the last laugh winning the whole thing on the Warren Morris home run

You have the years confused. The Morris shot in 96 beat Miami. 97 was when Bama nailed us in the SEC tournament, and we returned the favor in the CWS Final.

That was a different year. In 97 we sent out the guy who had won the SEC tournament championship game. He got shelled early and we couldn't recover. LSU won 13-6 or so.
Broke my heart. I really thought we were in a great position to win that final game.
