Notice his non-suspect finger placement

Gurley is the best back in the SEC and it's not even close. Heck, he was the best back last year too, but injuries hampered him.
Yes, better than Tre Mason and I LOVE love Tre Mason.
You know Gurley is good when you WANT a QB as good as Murray to throw the ball instead of handing it to TG.
By the way, I still hate georgia with a passion and hope they lose every game they play this year. But Gurley is a beast.

Gurley probably is better than Davis, but it is real close .. both are better than Yeldon.
To me Yeldon has that where did he go ablility, which is good... but Gurley & Davis, both have that "dang he's running right at me stuff"

Yeldon has almost identical career stats to Gurley.

He doesn't have an identical O-line.

Yet when players were asked who they'd rather not play against, they didn't say Yeldon...
Deep down, do you really believe that TJ Yeldon is a better runningback than Toddy Gurley?

I honestly don't think there is a huge difference outside of the fumbles. I know Gurley is the pre-eminent back in the SEC, but I don't think Yeldon gets nearly enough of the respect he deserves. People like to point to our O-Line and that was definitely true in 2012, but Yeldon was a backup at that point. Last year, out OL wasn't as bad as UGA's, but it definitely had its issues. I don't think there would be a huge bump in production or drop off either way if you switched the two out.

He doesn't. I've been saying it for two years, and slowly more and more gumps are coming to realize it, Yeldon is an average SEC starter. When the O-line struggled early, he never made it out of the backfield. Gurley is on a completely different level.

When healthy. He is the best back we have had in my lifetime. Better than Hearst, Davis, Moreno, and Edwards. He has that it factor.

You must disagree with coaches and media members who voted Yeldon above Gurley in this years pre-season All-SEC teams.
