Arkansas's odds are so low because you likely dont go even if you beat LSU.

NC game like 40%

No it sounds about right. Those numbers i gave were completely arbitrary but basically with an Arkansas win

SEC CG - very unlikely. would take a minor miracle
NC - still unlikely but at least a fighting chance.

You add that on top of the fact that Arkansas has to go on the road to play the best team in America.

and you get your 18/1 odds.

Think of this as a title fight...if #2 challenger can't go...we step up.

LSU is the undisputed champ at this point...if we are the only team team to beat LSU...it seems weird not to move us up...

But I read on here that OSU is a lock to jump Bama and Bama won't be in the game. Why don't those Gumps in Vegas understand that? Bama can't have second best odds to win a game they have no chance to get it.

its a possibility. not a lock. especially if virginia tech or stanford lose (and you assume an arkansas loss).

They also opened as a 13.5 dog this week. Vegas doesn't believe...and neither do I.
