Is Laquon Treadwell a TOP10 pick? If your team was in critical need for a WR would you take him early? He obviously will be gone in the 1st round regardless. I think he is gonna be an NFL stud but mock drafts have him going between picks 15-25 of the 1st.

They said they have three locks in the Top 10.

Yeah, I'd draft him.

I'm biased, but I think he's a top 10 talent. I just don't think many of the teams picking 1-10 want to address a need at wide receiver this year. He'll more than like slide to that 15-25 range and be one of the first 2-3 wide receivers taken off the board.

No way in hell that happens. Tunsil will be the only one drafted in the top 10.

It wouldn't shock me if the Giants took Treadwell at 10 to pair him up with OBJ. If he doesn't go to them at 10 I think he falls in the Vikings, Texans, Bengals range. I personally wouldn't value a receiver as a top 10 pick unless it was a physical freak who also showed those skills in college: such as Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Julio or Amari Cooper. But I think he would be a perfect fit with the Giants so I'm hoping he goes there. If the Atlanta incident doesn't happen, Nkemdiche goes top 15 but as of right now I think he'll be lucky to go in the late first round. While I'm biased, Tunsil to me is the best player in the draft but it's looking like there is a chance he falls out of the top 5.

WRs are getting devalued now like RBs have the last few years.
QBs, LTs, and edge rushers are teams' top priorities. After that it's CBs, S, and WRs. Then LBs, RBs, and ILBs.
I agree that he should definitely be in the top 3 WRs taken, if not the first.

He won't go top 10. He doesn't have the 40 time to go top 10. He will go middle of the first. He will be a productive NFL WR for a long time. He is head and shoulders better than Moncreif who is a solid #2 in the NFL.

Did that guy who fell out of a window ever get his panther? Guy is seriously fricked up in the head. Merica

Killing a Bama DB
This shows how fearless he is run blocking

Is Laquon Treadwell a TOP10 pick?

He's a great receiver with great hands, but seriously? You post a gif of him against the shortest DB in the league? He's probably 6" taller than Jones (who despite his height is a great DB) but Jones isn't going to be able to go up and stop a high throw on a receiver like Treadwell.
That being said, he's 1st round. If he somehow does not go first round someone will get a steal.

The problem with jones' coverage wasn't his height. He never got his head around got burned from the start and was playing catch up. I hate ole miss and bama but. Treadwell shite on jones

If he can improve on his route running then he'll be fine. Route running is how guys get open in the NFL.

Apparently that is what they have been teaching them. There are only very specific instances where the DBs are a taught to turn and find the ball. It has to do with not getting beat on double moves and/or ensuring a tackle after a 15yd gain rather than a 90yd catch-and-run.
It drives me crazy to watch though. But far be it from me to question the technique.

Brilliant. That is some real talk right. Jerry Rice wasn't the fastest receiver but could run the hell out of some routes. That is why he leads all receivers in just about every category.

He's not going in the top 10, but it will be a case where the NFL out thinks themselves and doesn't rely on the film.
He's a #1 WR all day long and someone will get a steal in the last half of the first round.

It's not bad technique because it's very difficult for a DB to get his head turned around and stay in good position. Where he failed was he was slow to react to the WR hands, but it was a good throw and catch. I'm guessing the safety was supposed to be over the top as well or he wouldn't have given him that release.
Corner is the most difficult position on the field.
ETA: Watching that again, and the safety was definitely out of position.

Not sure I would take him in the top 10, but 15-20 sounds about right
Posted on 4/21/16 at 12:47 pm to RaginRed
I'd draft him in the 15-20 range
