The Farmer's Almanac must be forecasting a very dry Fall 2014 for LSU to be ranked this low.

Anyone thinking that this isn't a legitimate possibility needs to reevaluate things. State's D will be legit, and they have a Heisman dakhorse playing QB.

i wish i could find that prediction Jed made about UT having twice as many wins as LSU the next 5 years and 3 times as many the next 10. or something like that (this was about 3 years ago)

I agree. LSU has way too many holes to fill on offense; we have no backfield talent returning- and don't even get me started on our QBs/WRs.

Our secondary will be vastly undermanned this year- and we have no talent up front.

I'm thankful we don't play the Vols this year!

He said something alone those lines last year.

I would bet my life that Tennessee has double the SEC wins as LSU over the next 5 years, and triple over the next 10.

Oh, and this about the Cam Cameron hiring.

I genuinely like to see the purple and yellow shine, but this just seems like a terrible hire, as always jmho.

And to top it off:

But I truly believe that TN will win the East, and the SEC as a whole this year.

My list put together in alphabetical order (though you can argue that the standings will change if you use nicknames or University first, but we'll let the season play out to see):

1. Alabama
2. Arkansas
3. Auburn
4. Florida
5. Georgia
6. Kentucky
7. Louisiana State
8. Mississippi
9. Mississippi State
10. Missouri
11. South Carolina
12. Tennessee
13. Texas A&M
14. Vanderbilt

My team will never win unless we just call ourselves A&M. Then we got this.
