Is it just that you don't believe he's a virgin...

Pretty much. I wouldn't like him any more/less if he was or wasn't a virgin. I just don't believe he's really a virgin. Personal opinion and I'm sorry if it offends some people.

It's nothing against Tebow. I just never believe people that are considered extremely attractive by the opposite sex and very popular can withstand the constant temptation. I'd be more inclined to believe him if he said he was something like a born-again virgin and hadn't been with someone since he was 19.

Let's be honest here: the main reason people hate Tebow (from a non-football standpoint), is because he seems to good to be true. And honestly, the longer he goes without scandal, the louder the cries will become that he must be a fraud.

I seriously HOPE he's as good of a guy as he appears to be. The world needs more of that. But I just hate hearing about him in the media. They've ruined him for ME.

Tim has not come out repeatedly and claimed to be a virgin. The media kept asking about it for some strange reason. I never understood that. It was probably an FSU grad doing it.

See, I don't follow him enough to know the context of where the virgin stuff came from. I kinda always assumed (first mistake) that it came from his "testament" or whatever they call it. If he's just responding to questions that's a different story, though I do wish he'd say something like "that's none of your business."

I hate that the media feels like public figures' sex lives are ANY of our business.

On the other hand, what's he supposed to do when the media asks him a question? Give something other than an honest answer? He's been around the media enough to not be a dummy--he knows if he's got skeletons in his closet that if he says he's a virgin and it's a lie, then his entire reputation will be discredited.

Your problem is with the media probing the same issues looking for chinks in his armor, if you will, and Tebow not changing his story to suit your cynical tastes. Nothing wrong with that, either, by the way

Why can't you take him at his word until you have a solid reason not to do so? Are you that jaded?

He's a good kid. It's really not more complicated than that.

Did you believe Ryan Mallett did meth?

I wouldn't believe Hope Solo if she said the same kinds of stuff. Other poster nailed it. I'm cynical about that stuff. Everyone's bangin' everyone.

Never claimed he actually did. It would be silly for me to do so. I have never been around him.

I have joked about Methlett though.
