Are you talking about Barrett Sallee? He's an Auburn guy, I doubt he picked UGA to get to the playoff?

Yes, I am and yes, he did; on the same segment where he said he saw no reason to pick Alabama over Auburn, which I have no problem with.Paul asked him if any SEC team had a good chance at going undefeated and getting in the play offs and his answer was Georgia. Paul has played the segment a few times to incite us bammers.

Yeah he is the guy saying that Bama would have two losses and almost every SEC team would end up with two losses last year and first year for non SEC champion. What a dumb arse? (LOL) FOR BEING CORRECT

Other than UCLA at 1 I see nothing wrong with his list. Btw we finished at 4 last yr so 5 is not out of the realm of possibility neither is 1 or 2

I think not putting Auburn in is a reach. I know it is possible AU falls out of the top 10 by end of year, but I just don't think there is much of a evidentiary basis for that right now. He's just playing a hunch or trying to rile people up, neither of which I think is very interesting for a sports writer to do.

I would not be shocked to see UCLA make the playoff this year. On paper they are loaded.

UCLA was 10-3 last year so they aren't terrible, but they got destroyed by Oregon, and it's hard for me to imagine them going undefeated against the schedule they have in front of them.

Not having AU in the top 10 is pretty shocking, that implies 3 losses at least. Although, honestly, given how close a lot of their wins were last year it wouldn't necessarily shock me.

Oops. He made a mistake. In his rush to show non bias toward all schools but the one in his home state he forgot a auburn . Do take out the number 10 there and put auburn.

This. He was pretty close last year, with the exception of picking Louiseville #1. What he tries to do is figure in how easy a path they have to the championship as well.

That will get harder now, though, since we have a playoff now.

Well you correctly pointed out 50% of the teams the AP hit on, so I guess that's the best I could hope for.
