They have been very adamant about getting him back and we never go after guys who flunked out/got kicked off previously.
So he was kicked off the team, then had legal troubles and kicked off another team, right? Good thing nobody around here is judgy about Coaches and their choices for handling players.

He had to leave basically because he wasn't going to be eligible for 2nd straight year due to academics is what it sounded like (or maybe they just booted him becaus ehe wasn't going to enough classes). So he went to Arizona Western with other former LSU players Trey LMFAO and 5-star bust Clifton Garrett. Then he got in trouble there (shocker around those 2) and kicked off. So now he's at MGCCC this year trying to get eligible to come back and play at LSU and probably not go to class again for 4-5 months

No doubt in my mind he declares for NFL draft after this season, definitely sounds like he's making it in. Already passed 2 summer classes with B's and is finishing up his last 2 classes now. He's the perfect fit for Aranda's 3-4. Gives Ed Alexander and Rashard Lawrence a year in system before we expect anything out of them at NT.

Kind of scary to see the talent we are once again stockpiling on the DL. Alexander, Lawrence, Logan, Shelvin and (hopefully) Wilson. Scary group right there. Alexander, Shelvin are deifnite NTs. Lawrence and Wilson are kind of hybrids.

His Interior Line play is alot like a Russell Sheppard halfback pass. It was never used at LSU, but it is well know the mushroom cloud of devastation it could create if used.

I believe in 4th chances. That way I'm not a hypocrite about Saban.

No, you're just awful at using logic.

This will be his 2nd chance at lsu, because of academics, and has had no legal issues here.

He's had to put in the work to get to this point. Your comparison is stupid.

Sources close to LSU say Valentine failed multiple drug tests and missed an excessive amount of class time after enrolling last fall.
Doesn't sound quite like you made it out. I'm glad for the guy, but taking back a player who was booted for those reasons after being booted from another program looks a little sketchy. Probably more sketchy than not booting 2 guys who weren't charged with anything. We all live in glass houses.

He is going to command a double team at all times from the NT position. I think hes really going to free up guys in Arandas 3-4 to get after the QB while he is occupying the middle.

So you think taking back Valentine is a better look than what Saban's done with Cam and Jones? Cuz there are some mad LSU fans about Saban. But you guys can spin anything not to be honest about stuff. "It was just grades, and he's been a model citizen since".

Saban is free to kick both players off the team and reinstate them a year later. I think pawl would be ok with that.

He's done it before. Caught hell. He DGAF. We don't either when it's our team we're talking about.

For a NT whose job was to eat up blocks in a 3-4 it wasn't bad.

You been crying about Cody and Tyler Love for years.
