What's funny is how he gets his own article on being a physical freak...yet doesn't make a top 10 NCAA "freaks" list.

Yeah that's some BS. Trent should be top 5 on that list

Just saying, all I hear is how trent is better than ingram. Well show me something? yes I know he is the no. 2 back, but has he really proven that he is yet? there is a reason he was no. 2. not saying he is going to be awful, just get off his jock. I have some cousins who are bama grads, all they talked about in 09' was TR.

What are you opinions on McCalebb? He was the no. 3 guy yet has preformed at least, if not better than TR so far.

ETA: Dyer's freshmen year > TR

I'm just saying all these people say all this shite, yet have never met him, as well as, he hasn't really spoken all that much.

Not saying he is one way or another, but I like to reserve judgment pending maybe just a little more info

Cam Newton says that Cam enjoys your addition to his supporting cast. Cam says that Cam is a humble man and that is tough to do when the world is Cam's enemy, but Cam is tough enough to take it.

Trent Richardson has muscles and can lift a lot of weight? Hasn't this story been discussed to death since before he even stepped foot in campus

But with each year his muscles get bigger and stronger...therefore calling for another thread to acknowledge the added size and strength of his fibahs!!

Ingram 2010 - 5.54 ypc
Trent 2010 - 6.25 ypc

Ingram had better vision though and was a returning Heisman winner. Tell me any school that will make someone averaging over 5 yds per carry and returning Heisman guy a no. 2 the following yr.

According to a person I know and trust and who would have inside knowledge, TR has been on roids for years.

ETA: This was a joke, sorry to those who took me seriously. I have no inside information.

You quoted me, so I assume you're directing this at me, which is a bit confusing.

Where did I say Trent > Ingram? I've always been an Ingram over Trent guy. I don't think the gap is big, but last season and the season before I would take Mark before Trent in pretty much any situation.

Statistically he seems like a solid performer. From what I can remember watching he looks like a solid back too. I'd like you to explain the bold text though. How has he performed better?

Yardage, sure. Points, no.

Put Trent in the same system and situations as Dyer and you think he would've done worse?

We'll see how good Dyer is this year when he doesn't have the benefit of Cam's presence keeping most defenses at bay.

It wasn't my argument, but that is the only thing one could be basing that argument on.

I assume it was meant to emphasize or contradict this earlier point you made about TR having higher YPC than Dyer

yet had a higher YPC

I'm not in or do I care about this pissing match, but you have to have a minimum of 99 carries to qualify for on a national scale for stats like that.

Or else a punter with 1 carry on a fake would lead the NCAA in YPC...

Huh? That's the only argument it can be based on? I mean that's the only place where he's beat TR, but that's not the only way to argue one player is better than another.

Im not following.

not saying in particular, just a large percentage of the fan base as a whole

well last year, total rushing, all purpose, ypc, and td's='ed while being the 3rd option as a rusher

2009 he was injured and played 3 less games, and still had more ypc

All this despite not have the strength of TR

also better yards per kick return both years
