but I'm really surprised at the WR being able to perform as well as Evans

Which one?

Kennedy has 334 yards and 1 TD

Noil has over 300 all purpose yards and 1 TD
RSJ has 192 yards and 3 TD
Pope has 180 yards and 2 TD
Holmes has 107 yards and a TD
Walk-on Niederhofer has 112 yards and a TD
Gonzalez has 77 yards and a TD
Tabuyo has 87 yards and 2 TD

One thing people are overlooking regarding Aggie is Hill being a freshman. He will have a few bad freshman game

He already had a bad freshman game against SMU in 2013 (1 for 5 for 9 yards and was sacked once)

I guess some folks get offended with a compliment.

I see a lot of good elements in all of the SEC West teams.

I'm not trying to slight any team or player, just pointing out what I think stands out from the games I've watched thus far.

I'm sorry that I thought Evans was really great. This is not meant to belittle the players playing WR now for the Aggies.

Bama has more than Cooper at WR. White and Jones are good players and OJ Howard is very talented. Also Bama's Henry is really good

Evans was actually a poor route runner believe it or not. He was average by the time he left but his sheer size, strength, and speed are what made him a high draft pick.

What you see now with A&M's receivers is that each one can play any of the four positions, so they don't line up in the same spot in any formation and that should terrify any secondary.

Notice that you see 6'5 Ricky Seals-Jones in the SLOT quite often.

We knew that Sumlin had recruited lights-out at those 3 key positions (where we lost guys to the NFL); but no one around here would hear it.
Oh well, 'tis the SECr.

Nobody doubted there was talent. Everyone knew the players coming in were talented as hell. The reason for the doubts was experience. Experience matters, and will start to matter even more as teams enter the meat of the SEC schedule. Virtually every SEC-W team TAMU will face has serious defensive chops, so it is a legitimate cause for concern.

And nobody has seen Kyrion Parker yet who was SUPPOSEDto be a top receiver and possibly start for us until he got hurt in the off-season.
