... and saying he wasn't worthy of the Heisman, who would you have put above him?

Just curious.

He is only the second best player on Bama's team, but he is certainly not trash. He is a hell of a player.

But, Will Anderson was rightfully your Heisman winner. He stood out even among all of that talent on the field on Monday night.

Lol hes going to be a better QB than both Tua and Mac Jones.

He'll need to put on at least 10-15 lbs for his body to handle the punishment in the NFL, but hes legit - hes very accurate and throws with great touch.

People really acting like Bennett outplayed him Monday Night just because UGA won have no idea how much more Young had to do in that game than Bennett.

I don't think he is trash but I also don't think he was the best player in the country. Somehow the Heisman has become an award for the best player on the best team...not the best player in the country

Offensive players are always going to get the advantage, that being said Kenneth Walker III, RB from Michigan St did more with less this year.

Was Will Anderson Bama's MVP though? Not that he would have to be to win the Heisman necessarily.

Young is not trash and actually is better than I gave him credit for at the beginning of the year. He carried the team on his back. What did surprise me is the surrounding cast he has on Offense. As highly as Bama has recruited over the years, they had no running game , their pass protection was suspect and the biggest weapon was a transfer from last year. Was it talent or playcalling?

He is not trash, he is very good. He is just not the best players in college football. Anderson and Clark were better players this year. Corral was a better QB during the season with less talent and injuries.

Lost his #1 and #2 WRs - Jamo, and Metchie - and was throwing to Slade Bolden and a couple of freshmen in a national championship game. Bryce Young is an exceptional player and fine young man. I’m proud for him to represent Bama, who will be loaded next year. Will Anderson will WRECK shite.

Pickett at Pitt. Not surrounded by five stars and lead Pitt to an 11-win season.

He’s not trash, but he also benefits from his supporting cast like all Alabama QB do.

No Jameson Williams and John Metchie while the opposing team gets a pass rush? He looks human, like he would on any other team in the SEC minus Georgia.

Again, it’s hard to fault him for who he plays for, but Alabama can mask a lot of his short comings because of the elite talent around him.

I love these hot takes without naming someone better.

There are several other players named above. Of course, it is all personal opinion. No wrong answers for the people named.

I think he's better than good but you are right, he did kind of "back in" to the Heisman. There wasn't a lot of competition at a very high level. CJ Stroud was good but not good enough to put Ohio St on his back like Bryce did. That's a kind of subjective thing though. Ohio State's defense was not as good as Bama's.
