I didn't see why nil laws has anything to do with what the NCAA considers permissible or impermissible. The NCAA is a private organisation, all the participating institutions do so voluntarily. Just because a state says college athlete's can sign nil doesn't mean the NCAA has to consider them eligible based on their own internal rules of competition

Let me guess, you're not a lawyer?

The NCAA basically has ONE regulation for NIL. Schools have to monitor their players' NIL deals and if any are set up so that they are "used as an inducement for an individual to enroll or remain enrolled" at a school, the player must be suspended.

So when Beck is ineligible because he was openly offered an NIL deal to return to UGA for 2024 you keep that same energy? Honest question.

They are exempt from following any rule as long they keep throwing moneybags to avoid being looked at for any illegal wrongdoings

Those member institutions were not consulted nor did they vote on the NIL bylaws. They were provided very vague guidance on it and all parties involved in the Nico contract followed the guidance provided at the time.

The player will be well compensated at UGA. But not as well as FSU was offering. Some players aren’t mercenaries and prefer to go to a school where they will receive a quality education, excellent coaching and can compete for natties every year. A school that puts loads of players in the NFL. Georgia fits the bill and smart players choose that over more short term money.

Wrong. Ohio St. Does it.
Iowa does it. And I'm willing to
Bet Texas does it. We all know
Even Kirby tried to get Downs
To transfer to Georgia in a
Round about way. Why can't these schools just take the players that wanna be there?
Instead of flinging money @
The successful schools players?
No fricking integrity

Funny. Bama had no problem when ole GrandPaw flung around money. Now that Bama is being looted they are outraged.
