Bit of a difference between traveling a couple hundred miles maximum to a game in your own home state versus a multiday road trip or an airplane ride to get to El Paso or Shreveport from Missouri, too. But don't let that stop you.
Kentucky fans have never had a problem traveling. For bowl games or for basketball either.

After November 30th, Missouri will still be winless against the SEC West as a member of the SEC.

Unless it involves travelling 5 miles out their front door/dorm room over to Commonwealth Stadium, apparently.

Kind of like the claims that your boys are a shoe-in for Atlanta amiright?

Nice try but no.

Important caveat to have to make since otherwise you'd have to acknowledge Mizzou having won 5 of th last 7 vs A&M or being 19-13 vs the SEC West all-time. Selective samplings are so fun!

Youre talking about selective sampling and don't include the all time a&m-mizzou record?

Missouri is 5-8 against A&M:
0-1 vs. Bear Bryant
0-1 vs. Jim Myers
0-1 vs. Kevin Sumlin
1-4 vs. R.C. Slocum
2-1 vs. Dennis Franchione
2-0 vs. Mike Sherman
In other words - Missouri is 1-6 vs. A&M when the Aggies have an average or better coach.

Probably because you're traveling within your geographic region. The music city bowl wouldn't be all that far from Kentucky if it was in Nashville. The big 12 played many of their bowl games out of their geographic region, and it never made sense for fans who live in Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, etc. to travel to California or New York to watch their teams play.

I don't take any ownership of MS2 or the other younger/meth-addicted Mizzou fans on here. They are mostly trying to rile people up but to whatever extent they believe, then its misplaced. Objectively I have no idea what to expect the next two games other than likely a couple high scoring shootouts. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who says otherwise is full of it. That includes not just Mizzou fans but Ole Miss fans and our Aggie friend up there proclaiming we will definitely lose 2. The Mizzou-Ole Miss and Mizzou-ATM games are as tough to predict as they come because of the high scoring offenses and in some of the teams' cases, lack of D.

Sure. A&M leads 8-5. That's a nice competitive series that is a bit different than being "winless all-time" against you, I'd say.

Yet we travel just fine for basketball when we play as far away as Hawaii.
I have no reason to believe UK fans wouldn't travel well to a bowl better than Music City. They traveled well for the Outback against Penn State which is about a 16 hour drive.

the record is 5-8. You know there are a lot of jokes here in Austin about Aggie fans not being good at math. I try not to buy into those, as a neutral third party, but you're not helping the cause. Mizzou-A&M series record

Derp. That was four fanbases splitting that venue. Four well supported ones in Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and Michigan State. If you think Kentucky Basketball fans don't travel well and often overwhelm stadiums you're an even more ignorant frick then I thought and that's saying something.
How you ever made it into Mizzou is beyond me.

And I have every reason to believe Mizzou would travel well to the Outback also since its a major big time bowl, that was sort of MS2's point. We may in fact get to see how well Mizzou would or wouldn't travel to the Outback this year. (More UK bowl travel analysis will, alas, have to wait).
And no shite you travel well in basketball I think the world knows that. That's like asking if Bama travels well to anywhere at all in football. I think the question on the table is how would UK football fans travel for a 6-6 or 7-5 type team to a bowl game in a remote obscure spot like El Paso. That is frankly part of what kept happening to Mizzou in the Big 12. Year after year we would, based on record, have a team that would be worthy of playing in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas or Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, but because the Big 12 had no bowl selection directives at all, those bowls would take geographically closer schools with larger enrollments like Texas, OU or A&M even when those teams finished below us, and Mizzou despite a better record would get shipped off to an El Paso or Shreveport. Now suddenty Mizzou is playing in a no-name destination and its fans feel shafted/disappointed because they felt they deserved a better bowl, and are not as motivated to travel to a third world location. That was the cycle we were stuck in many years. When we actually got a shot at playing in places like Dallas or Phoenix, we actually did bring really large crowds.

You will have no places in Mizzou Arena in Feb except for the 20 boosters who have to be given seats
