I know. I would rather see the mental gymnastics he would have to do to talk his way out of it though.

Says the Auburn fan who had to call upon the greek god Zeus himself to make sure they could beat Georgia. It reminded me of the Buffalo Wild Wings commercials with the dramatic ending, where something stupid has to happen for them to have a chance, in this case it was the idiots roaming the Georgia secondary

I may as well point out Shawshank before an opposing fan does, MS2.

They be pot, we be kettle. That's why I don't call them black.

I suspect Buffalo Wild Wings has already contacted Auburn requesting to use that play for future commercials already

Pretty pointless thread...you will split your last two games.

USCe wrapped up the East two days ago.

There's a legit discussion in there actually. Say for sake of argument Mizzou does split its last two, and Auburn loses to Bama. You now have two 10-2 teams, Mizzou and Auburn, neither of whom goes to SEC title game. Who between Mizzou and Auburn gets the better bowl game? Will the SEC and its bowl affiliates make an objective pick? Part of the reason we bailed on the Big 12 was it was its bowl "selection process" was all subjective blatant favoritism based on geography and TV ratings and such. Can we expect any more fair an outcome in the SEC, or no?

Due to unfamiliarity, the Sugar would take Au over Mizzou.

They KNOW Au travels. They dont KNOW Mizzou does.

Translated, more subjective bullshite based on things that can't be measured and prior reputation and tradition and such. Got it.

By the way, seeing as how the Sugar picked Florida last year, they can't be all *that* concerned with having a fanbase who travels.

For bigger bowl games we travel (i.e. Cotton Bowl sold out quickly) For smaller bowl games with less coverage we don't travel very well, but we're in position to make a great bowl game so we would travel

So in other words, you're fair weather fans.

Got it.

As opposed to all those diehard Wildcat loyalists who filled Commonwealth Stadium to the brim against Mizzou the weekend before last because UK fans are true blue no matter the record or the matchup, they are *real* fans.

No not what I said, For Mizzou the bowls we've played in the past are difficult for some fans to travel to (i.e. the holiday bowl in San Diego that is a long drive from Missouri. When the games are within traveling distance (i.e. Independence Bowl attendance was better)

So Kentucky would sell out their bowl allotment in San Diego ?

Bit of a difference in a 2 win team and a bowl eligible team.

But yes, we generally have pretty solid fan support despite the product on the field. And traveled well during our recent bowl streak.

Bit of a difference between traveling a couple hundred miles maximum to a game in your own home state versus a day-long road trip or an airplane ride to get to El Paso or Shreveport from Missouri, too. But don't let that stop you.
