Well now, let's try to over look that "minor league" detail.

And y'all forget how good he was. Ingram was a monster in college and had moves for days.

Zero mention of him repeating as Heisman winner the next year.

I remember Carter knocking the ball loose from him though.

Suh was the best football player in the country that year.
Anthony Dixon was the best RB in the SEC and Rolando and/or Julio were probably the best players on Alabama's team. So Ingrams Heisman made the most sense that year right?

On a scale of tree to UAB, where does Mark's accomplishments fall on the poor Auburn scale?

Has it really gotten to this point?
"No way Bama beats Tebow"
"See told you Bama was a one trick pony. They only went 10-3"
"9-6. No way Bama deserves to play for the title"
"Bama is losing too much to win back to back. McCarron sucks."
"Bama is losing too much talent to compete."
"Kick 6. Gus has Saban's number. Saban can't beat spread teams. Oklahoma destroyed Bama. The dynasty is over."
"Sims can't lead Bama close to a title. Kiffin will destroy the Alabama program from within. Bama won't play in the inaugural playoff."
"Oh shite. Well, Ingram shouldn't have won the Heisman 5 years ago. He would get creamed this year. Hahahahaha."
Y'all keep talking, Bama keeps winning.

Lol, so why does bother you so much? I don't care what shitty Bama fans say about lsu. You seem to carry a lot of pain. Let go man.

I wouldn't say it bothers me. It's funny that the smack talk has been reduced to this. Unlike a portion of our fandom, I lived through the Perkins through Shula years. Outside of Stallings that was a lot of disappointment. This run with Saban is awesome and I am enjoying it.

He was injured the first 3 games wasn't he? Does nobody here watch football?

And at least the fumble didn't go through the endzone...

He has a propensity for fumbling. What can you do? As a saints fan, it irritates me.

One of the things about the Heisman, and a reason I have no problem with Ingram winning it, is that, unlike most awards, they claim that character and sportsmanship are significant factors.

Sadly, I don't think I can really buy that myth anymore after some of their recent winners.

[quote]2300+ yard rusher and he will not even come close to winning, but a 1600 yard rusher wins? We have protocols in place to make sure this doesn't happen again, right?[/quote

I knew this had to be an auburn fan before I even opened the thread.
Those 55 points must have hurt worse than I thought.

Sadly, the last time a commentator mentioned Yeldon or Henry's yards after contact was never.
