Oh, he was. He was definitely used.

He was just outperformed by Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory.

He's having a pretty good year, yes, but where was he every other year?

Coming in on obvious running downs, never allowed to get in a groove, hurt, and running like a girl sometimes.

He wasn't worth a first round pick. I'll put it that way.

It's hard being a powerback and average 7 carries a game. This season he's getting 4.5 YPC with a 4.2 YPC for his career. He's slimmed down and is better than he once was but I firmly believe he wasn't utilized to his potential until this year

Toby Gerhart had big numbers to but look at who he did it against. Ingram played 7 teams that finished in the top 25 in total defense

Weren't over half of his TDs from within 1 yard as well?

Voters just wanted Bama to have a Heisman winner finally.

Does anyone honestly think Ingram = Bo or Herschel?

Still believe Suh should have won it.

Nah, Toby Gerhardt should have won it.

Mark Ingram should send ESPN a check every Christmas for the gift he received. If it hadn't been for them, Ingram wouldn't have gotten more than 5 votes.

Oh my god How do you losers refuse to acknowledge that he wasn't competing with Bo or Herschel for the damn trophy?

And y'all forget how good he was. Ingram was a monster in college and had moves for days.

Toby Gerhardt should have won that year. The Heisman is racist.

How hard is it to be a stand out in the Big Ten? Watching the awards? They load up in these things while sucking out loud.

Give me an address to ship that Heisman to. Since you are the only ones that give a frick about that cheese.

Ingram running in the Big10 and not splitting carries with Trent goes for about 3k in 2009.
