Where do they have college football double headers? Much less on only 4 days notice. They certainly never happen in FBS.

Alabama and Auburn used to do them frequently at Legion Field. Not that I'm advocating that in this situation, especially with this set of circumstances.

As an LSU fan that has seen games moved, postponed, cancelled over the last 10 yrs I do feel sorry for the South Carolina fans. I was hoping if it wasn't going to be in Columbia that it'd be in Charlotte.

Doesn't that make it more rational to just not play the game and spend that money on South Carolina?

what money is being spent? money is going to be gained by playing this game and then given back to south carolina

The fact is that if USC were a ranked team in the race for the SEC East, this game would have been moved to the Georgia Dome or Charlotte or the like.

It's being moved to Baton Rouge because of convenience and everyone's realization that this is a throw away game.

it's baffling to me that some people are this dumb. LSU was a top 5 team in 2005 and actually did win the sec west. Despite al of that, they moved a game 2500 miles away at the drop of a hat and a game the following week to a monday night on short notice. just stfu

Blame your AD, I don't know why it couldn't be played in Charlotte.

It happens multiple times every year in every major college sport.

Just stop

they have double headers every year in college football at the same venue? other sports don't have 80k fans at them. it's a lot easier to clear out 15k fans for a basketball game, especially when you've planned all the logistics for that beforehand. you also have to think about parking and everything else. can you imagine a game ending at 4 and trying to clear everyone out, including parking lots, then getting more people in there for a game starting in 3 hours. and who foots the bill for all of that extra work? south carolina? just stop, you're making yourself look like a dumbass

I would be pissed off too. But I wouldn't act like a whiney bitch about it. The weather dicks up a lot of things. Ask the Saints.

If I were a SCAR fan this year, I'd pay the price of a ticket to not have to see my team play LSU.

LSU went thru it in 2005 with Katrina and Rita. Had to play home games away, in one case out in the Pac12
