A team that good losing by double digits to a 7 seed? Fail.

At least that isn't as bad as Missouri 's #2 seed team matching an NCAA tourney all time choke job by losing to a lowly 15 seed in the first round.

Every time a thread is started by a Mizzou fan or about Mizzou, you're on it like a fly on shite.

Agreed. Won't find many people to refute that

Interesting as the quote was made by a famous male mathematician in the 1950's.

Why do y'all hate each other?

Anyhoo... this season wasn't a failure for UF imo. However, this loss is very much a disappointment and definitely shouldn't have happened but things like this happen in the post-season and UCONN may be ranked a lower seed but they're not a bunch of scrubs. But no way, UF's season was a failure.

Ugh, I feel so dirty now.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel right, but it does not make it right.

Yep...the loss individually sucked, but it was a damn fine season.

Atlhough, I melted pretty badly when UConn beat MSU

Yeah, looks like he caught a bunch of trash fish (LSU, BAma, and of course the worst, Auburn) but you are catching fish.

It was a lyric in the song Alma LINK

Tom Lehrer earned his AB in mathematics (magna cum laude) from Harvard University in 1946, when he was 19. He received his MA degree the next year, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He taught classes at MIT, Harvard, and Wellesley.

He remained in Harvard's doctoral program for several years, taking time out for his musical career and to work as a researcher at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957, working at the National Security Agency. (Lehrer has stated that he invented the Jell-O Shot during this time, as a means of circumventing liquor restrictions.)

Yes, the subject of the song is a woman. The ugly women envy Alma, the subject of the song. You described yourself in the way he described Alma. Again, a woman.

I repeat.

I don't blame you. When it comes to post-season play there's an institutional advantage that often happens (MSU wouldn't have had the same institutional advantage UCONN does). Those teams who've been there before and who've won it all before are stronger in post-season play. UK's current team is a perfect example of this as both the institution and the coach know exactly what it takes to win in the post-season. The LVs under Summitt were another.

A good rule of thumb is regardless of how you think your team matches up with an opponent (roster to roster and style wise) those opponents players - add points to how you view the strength of any team with institutional advantages.
