Yawn. If you're in the band you get to do this at every game as long as you have the full band.

That's awesome, but I doubt I'd last five minutes wandering around smelling like maker's mark and corn dogs

This is awesome. I was at the Auburn game with a buddy who is in Army ROTC there and he said if you can get on the field without anyone noticing, you can stay there. All you have to do is act like you belong and people really don't question it at all. Would be really cool to do.

Reminds me of the drunk guy that stole the pace car at talladega, he turn two laps with cops chasing him, we were all laughing, and asking wtf going on.

It's very easy to do at Kyle if you have seats in the South zone bleachers and get to your seat before march-in. I've done it. Bit went back to my seat at kickoff

Not even close. Tulane students once stole Mike the Tiger and let him loose in New Orleans, covered in green paint.

This is unbelievably awesome though. What a great fricking memory. On the field for the biggest upset in Aggie history -- and he snuck on. On top of it all, he has photographic evidence for when people call bullshite. Amazing.

I have a friend who participated in an alumni band performance at halftime at an SEC school and he'd never picked up that instrument before. Never marched in a band in his life. A friend in the band got him in and he actually got away with it.

(it wasn't Auburn by the way)

..anyone on the sideline is supposed to wear creditials. They'll probably enforce that now.

I am indeed impressed.

My memorable story from Bryant-Denny is a Penn State game in the 80's.D.J. Dozier ran all over Cornelious Bennett and Bama to the tune of 42-21.Was sitting about the 10 yd line about 15 rows up.When some Penn State chearleaders(male and female) came close the guy next to me threw an empty whiskey bottle at them and it landed on the field.Police walked up each stairs and then grabbed me.A policeman had me by one arm and my buddy had the other.A girl behind me cleared me without really knowing.

i have a couple of friends that did this in Tiger Stadium. they had a small gate open by their seats so they just walked through it and onto the field. They grabbed a couple of rain ponchos and and some cables and claimed they worked for ESPN. they got kicked out in the 2nd quarter when someone finally asked to see their credentials. They just looked at each other and said "frick...you got us. Are we going to jail?"

As I watched the Ags warm up the stadium video screens began showing 'the drive' video, which was Bama's drive against LSU to win the weekend before. The stadium is going nuts and everyone (including the security guards) are watching.

Does Bama really play clips from the previous game on the jumbotron in pregame? And everyone, even security is watching it instead of doing their jobs?

Wow, just wow.

For the SEC Championship one year, me and a buddy did something similar. We were poor college students but really wanted to go to this game. We figured that we would just go up to a gate and pass someone $100 to let us in. Well, thats a no-go at the dome. There are only 4 gates and they watch very carefully.

After not being able to get in using the $ handshake we decided to walk around the world congress center to check out what was going on there. We somehow found a utility tunnel that lead into the media parking lot (no fans allowed and its between the gwcc and the dome). Right as we walked out into the parking deck the FL team bus pulled up. We threw our jackets over all the red we were wearing a grab some equipment off the bus and help roll it into the dome.

We made it! We're in and on the field at that. But everyone has these huge badges so we somehow need to make it into the regular seating. We found the staircase the band uses to get up and down from the field and disappeared into the crowd. Best Bama game I've been to.
