Our field seems to be a hot topic that is in multiple posters' minds so I wanted to show why it is in the shape it is in.
Yes it's a wall of text. I summarized it later. Yes, it's about Tennessee, but considering multiple SEC teams play on the field it's fine being on the rant.

Honestly, this was the first thing that came to mind when I was reading that article.
Either the current groundskeeper is a blithering moron who is completely full of himself and is excellent at arse kissing or he is purposely being directed to funnel money to somebody through sod purchases.

I just Youtubed the North Texas game and it really didn't look that bad to me, but I'm far from an expert. I always think Alabama's looks like shite.

Perhaps if you took the "crap" product off the field and looked at it again...it would look better.

I think it's common to re-sod the end zones and the areas that are constantly painted, but I don't know about the whole field.
