Last time was 2003, right?

Didn't the SEC have a national champion that season?

Only 3 other SEC teams beside Bama had less than 5 losses and those 3 had 4 losses. I see why there's not much love for the SEC.

Outside the SEC the SEC is hated. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter how many teams are in the top ten today, what counts is how many are in it at the end of the season.

Oklahoma is serially overrated every year. You always hear how great they are and they do frick all. Big game bob my arse

I'm not sold on Wisconsin, but there schedule is a joke this year. That's why the high rating

Acc is not the best conference in America. There isn't a best conference anymore. They are all the same

"Oklahoma is serially overrated..."

Not really sure what you're referring to. This board recently posted threads about the best teams in the AP and Coaches' polls. OU is #1 in both based on final poll results through history. So i fail to see that you've even made an argument.

Oh and Big Game Bob is retired. It's a new era in Norman now.

Lsu will be included in top 10 every year in the future. People don't really understand that Coach O is one of the best recruiters of all time. Hell, he was smart enough to hire Frank Wilson during his time at Ole Miss. Im ready to see how Coach O will fare with Alabama as far as talent goes the next 5 years. It Will get interesting.

LSU has been signing top 5 classes or so for over a decade bro. Recruiting isn't what held them back.

My point was I think Coach O's classes will translate into a .500 record against Alabama once he establishes his own talent. One thing to have a top 10 class, it's another thing to have Bama like talent and depth.

Should've stopped right there. All things being equal from a talent standpoint, 0 will not be a .500 coach head to head with Saban.

I think that's the exact point the other poster was making. LSU hasn't lacked the talent, Miles brought in tons of talent. We didn't have the depth Alabama had, in large part, because every LSU guy declares as soon as he can, and that caught up with the program. That, and the desire to have a dual threat QB instead of just going with competent pocket guys.

I think it's more of that the other SEC coaches... think that if i can keep it close for 3 against Bama then maybe i can keep my job. Instead of going with a game plan that attacks Bama few weaknesses... the only one i can see
this year of course would be the kicking game.

So by your logic coaches should attack the kicking game.

You are a fricking idiot.

The head coaches other than Saban are weak. Honestly I wouldn't want any of them as a HC.

They just finished top 5 and took it to SEC #2 in the Sugar Bowl.
