Don't worry, I'm sure auburn will have lots more seasons where they lose 2 games.

Could you coach us up on unfulfilled potential? Seems like it's what y'all are best at.

So did someone give you a hug after every arky game? Probably needed it....or morphine.

Nah- I was fine about 5 games into the season. Never got my hopes up for a good season only to get them dashed by a choke job.

It has really made me rethink about what it is that I hope for as a fan. I used to think that winning it all was the end all be all of being a football fan, but I realize that it is not necessarily the case. My elation during the UGA and the IB overshadowed my reaction to winning it all in 2010 (and that was huge).

Had the same feeling in 2007. Lost 2 3OT games, destroyed the #9 team in the country at home, over the back toss fake feild goal against South Carolina, came back from down 10 in the 4th to beat Tebow and UF at home the same night of the USC loss to Stanford, beat Auburn on a deep ball with 1 second left, beat Alabama with a late game sack and fumble, won the SECCG with our backup QB, went into the last weekend ranked #7 and jumped all the way to #2...... Just an incredible season to follow as a tiger fan, and getting to watch them and enjoy them were so much better than the W-L record.

Weird way to introduce your boyfriend to new people.

Since that was your take away from my comment, you clearly must be the expert on boyfriend introductions and dealing with big cocks so I'll have to take your word for it.

Textbook grammar deflection. Enjoy your castration of a loss in the Sugar.

I must say, the AU folks are taking this loss much better than the LSU folks took theirs in '11.
you have understand what it was like last year at this time....our record was 3-9 and we were lucky to finish that good....we were hoping for a 7-8 win season and a good bowl game this year to start the rebuilding....this has been a dream season because of that, and last night was tough to accept, especially with so many chances to slam the door on FSU, but we are just looking at the big picture....I really enjoyed this year more than any that I can remember because there was hope of wwinning rather than fear of losing

Exactly. I know these people are just wanting to troll, but this is true. I was pretty much numb to losing last year. I think by the end of that season I was hoping they would lose out of pure resentment for the pure shitfest they put on the field. For me, this year 7 wins was acceptable, 8 good, 9 excellent. Anyone disappointed with this season really needs to reevaluate and get a little perspective.

The beauty of being a Gamecock fan ... we still have other "firsts" to look forward to.

It keeps some of us alive.

Out of curiosity, as a UGA fan, what do you enjoy about football? I guess 2 loss seasons are your pinnacle.

Seriously though even though others wanted to try to derail my thread, I hope one day everyone gets to experience at least one of these types of moments as a fan.

I'm a L.S.U. fan and I was hoping that the Orange and Blue Tigers would take it all.

My friend, you did not win the big one, but this is a season and a football team that people will be talking about for as long as they play college football. Congratulations on a great year......
