Didn't he flip that top rb from Ohio state and the favirote to land the top new jersey DT, which I'm pretty sure is the top player in the country according to recruiting services? I agree it seems weird as hell but apparently it's working.

I mean I guess it's a little weird. But if you had the pressure of being Big Blue's coach and answering to those boosters, you'd probably do anything you could to get the players you need and avoid the shame of being cast out in the early going. I say props to his effort.

Whatever it takes to win.

Sometimes you gotta make hard decisions bc the last thing you want is a soft recruiting class. In the end, it may just be a winning angle if it means making the big game and that big finish they dream of.

See, my first thought wasn't that he's weird. It was that he's having a tougher time than anyone thought recruiting against Dantonio and Meyer.

My second thought was that he's fricking weird.

Do you really want a guy on your team who's going to choose his team based on which coach gives him the most attention? Championship teams aren't built that way.

Not if that's the only thing no. But Spurrier did the Cha Cha Slide with Lattimore's mom so going the extra mile can mean a lot.

Harbaugh babysat the kid when he recruited his brother a while back, so I guess that takes off some of the creep factor.

Thanks guys. I couldn't have done it without Harbaugh sleeping in my bed every night.

Not IMO. Makes it even weirder and creepster to the max to me. That's just..strange on so many levels.

You would think the B1G would be wary of these kind of things considering the PSU Sandusky thing ... I mean I know it's not the same, but still, the optics of it ... and football players and coaches do not do #sleepovers - at least they didn't used to.

Imagine what The Bear would think of this.

Makes me totally understand why Spurrier said frick it and just walked away.
